浙江遂昌的山坳裡，坐落著一群混凝土盒子，很少人猜到，這是一座殯儀館。 2019年，建築師王灝接下這個特殊的項目，花數年時間建成。有人專程上山打卡，說它像美術館、像公園。今年8月，我們在遂昌見到王灝，「一座事生事死的房子，永遠是這個社會裡面最重要的建築，甚至比博物館還重要」。 Hidden in the mountains of Suichang, Zhejiang, a group of concrete boxes sits quietly among the hills. Few people would guess that this is a funeral home. In 2019, architect Wang Hao took on this unusual project and spent several years bringing it to life. 他在廣東最熱的地方造房：800㎡自然降溫，可抗颱風 800 m² typhoon-proof home in Guangdong

70後的設計師張清是土生土長的廣東湛江人，在外漂泊近30年後，決定回鄉重建祖宅，全家三代共八口人一起住。他找到好友、建築師餘炆哲一起改造。從見不到光的“握手樓”，到5層半滿足三代共居的需求。為適應湛江的氣候，房子設計得既可抗颱風，又能自然降溫。 Zhang Qing, a designer born and raised in Zhanjiang, Guangdong, spent nearly 30 years living away from home. He eventually decided to return and rebuild his family’s old home, where three generations—eight people in total—could live together. He worked with his friend, architect Yu Wenzhe, to redesign the house. They transformed the original dark, cramped home into a five-and-a-half-story house for the whole family. 2017年，湖南女生朱聰在長沙成立公益機構“地衣之家”，專門幫助流浪群體融入社會。有別於「送返回家」的兜底式救助，朱聰嘗試把幫扶之路走得更遠，落戶、培養技能、恢復社會關係，用長達幾年的時間，陪一個人重建對自己、對世界的信任。成立地衣之家時，朱聰才20多歲，卡里僅有10萬元。十年裡，機構因為經費問題關停過3次，但都沒有擊垮她重啟的決心。 In 2017, Zhu Cong, a young woman from Hunan, founded “Lichen Home” in Changsha to help homeless people reintegrate into society. Unlike basic shelter-and-return services, she goes further—helping with household registration, job skills, and restoring family ties, spending years rebuilding trust. She started in her 20s with only 100,000 yuan. But over time, his downtime became cheap, and his body took irreversible damage. In the end, he chose to honor his own feelings and return to the Guangxi village where he grew up. Now he lives at the foot of the mountains, building himself a thatched hut with his own hands, playing hard, and engaging all his senses in life. 陳希在北京出生長大，17歲赴美讀高中，畢業後在距離白宮200公尺處做政府管理諮詢，買車買房。 2018年，一場病讓她決定回國，在貴州黔東南洋洞村，她吃到人生最香的一碗飯，決定留下造房。蓋房子時與返鄉青年邦榮相戀，還種起老品種水稻，為孩子們建圖書館。如今她已住六年，孩子一歲，在梯田蛙鳴中長大。她說除了快遞慢、人們不太有時間觀念，沒什麼不適應：「這裡住得舒服，有想做的事，不會放棄」。 Chen Xi was born and raised in Beijing. At 17, she went to the U.S. for high school, and after graduation, she worked as a government management consultant just 200 meters from the White House, where she bought a car and an apartment. In 2018, an illness made her decide to return to China. In Yangdong Village, Qiandongnan, Guizhou, she had the most delicious bowl of rice of her life—and that convinced her to stay and build a house. During the construction, she fell in love with Bangrong, a young man who had returned to his hometown. Together, they started growing heirloom rice varieties and built a library for the village children. Now, she has lived there for six years, and her one‑year‑old son is growing up amid the rice terraces and frog calls. 奚志農，中國野生動物攝影第一人，40年來，他用影像實際推動中國生態保護的進步。從世界上最早拍攝到瀕危的滇金絲猴，最早報道藏羚羊被大肆獵殺的危機狀況；到自發在蒼山建立中國海拔最高的自然中心，把自己在大理的家改造成中國第一座自然影像博物館……期間各種艱難，投進去的錢超過七位數，奚志農甚至賣了唯一的房子，還是堅持了唯一的房子，但還是堅持下去。 Xi Zhinong, China’s foremost wildlife photographer, has spent 40 years using his images to drive real progress in the country’s ecological conservation. He was the first in the world to capture the endangered Yunnan snub‑nosed monkey on film, and the first to expose the large‑scale poaching crisis facing the Tibetan antelope. He went on to establish the highest‑altitude nature center in China on Cangshan Mountain entirely on his own initiative, and turned his own home in Dali into the country’s first natural image museum.
