You let the goodness within your blood flow into the burning sun, the burning trees, and the earth itself. You are the burning tree. You are the burning sun. You are the alchemist. We cannot truly be separated. For existence itself is a form of witchcraft. Just as piano improvisation can give birth to a composition in an instant, it too is a kind of witchcraft. This is how this series of works came into being:Improvisation. Improvised piano. Improvised poetry. Separation is an illusion. Every beginning and every ending—thunder, mountains, islands, light, the sea...all arise, burn, and flow within the same consciousness. Behind them all is the universe's single melody. This album-poetry trilogy is a map. The music and the words do not necessarily mean the same thing. Yet they are two paths leading to the same place.
