剛到台灣時，完全沒想到我會留那麼久，本來只想說要待個一年，有個經驗就好... 台灣有個魔力，會讓人流連忘返... 等到工作變成必須從早到晚坐在電腦前、盯著螢幕，才會知道可以跟小孩們互動一整天多幸福。這份工作讓我認識到許多台灣金字塔頂端的家庭，才瞭解到台灣小孩的學習壓力多大... 在壓力這麼大的環境下還能閱讀英語母語的書籍，非常佩服這些孩子們的奮發向上。 Teaching English in Taiwan gave me an amazing look into the world of the Taiwanese student. I will always be amazed that so many of those children managed to gain such a goo grasp of English and always be in admiration of how hard they work. Growing up I never once came into contact with a classmate that had even the most basic knowledge of a foreign language, except my friends whose parents were not english and therefore learnt it at home. Teaching English in Taiwan may or may not be the right thing for you, one thing is for sure. Taiwan won't be a peaceful country much longer. My belief is that Britain will be the first European country to fall. There will be shock and awe as the world watches parts of Europe become third world countries. Police overwhelmed. High levels of inflation, and daily riots. All China will have to do is to wait and pick up the pieces. Unfortunately one of those pieces will be Taiwan. The overblown welfare state, mass immigration from countries and of peoples not understood by the politicians that initiated the immigration policies. The resentment of the indigenous Brits and the weak police force will lead to bloodbaths in the streets. China despite all the wishes for it to collapse will not. There will be swift moves to take advantage of the gap in power. Taiwan will be the Suez canal of the United States of America. If Britain has a cultural revolution this is it. The dark ages saw a decline in life expectancy, innovation, creativity. The west is about to enter another dark ages. There is no telling how long it will last. The next proper comprehensive history written about the peoples of Britain will be written in Chinese. 十五年我從亞洲回到家鄉英國，發現我從小被灌輸的那些“全球化、多元種族是對人類好的”的觀念竟然是有不同答案... 從小在沒有民主、沒有自由國家長大的人們，不一定到了民主自由的國家就會開始喜歡民主和自由。住在民主自由的國家十年、二十年還不一定想要或者尊重當地的民主與自由。民主與自由這回事其實只佔了整個人類歷史中非常短的時間，並且大多數國家至今都沒有。這十五年來，我去到中國、香港與台灣，他們三個地方離彼此那麼近，卻是那麼的不一樣。我們必須保護自由的價值，中國變得強大，是因為與世界各國做買賣。但為了GDP或者更便宜的成本，要賠上香港的自由與台灣的民主？ 15 years is a long time. 15 years can change the way you look at everything. Arriving back in the UK I can't say I could be more at odds with the liberal globalist cult of British politics. We don't have to do any more than turn on the TV or look online to see examples of what happens when borders are not respected, when we undergo top down social experiments of mass immigration against the will of the populace. We don't need to look further than Hong Kong to see the dangers of authoritarian governments. We don't need to look further than Taiwan to see how fragile the world order is or how quickly everything could be turned on its head. We have become sedated with netflix and chocolates. We have been blind to the dangers of initiatives imposed on us by globalist elites who seek to undermine our way of life. Diversity of opinion with in a population is healthy. Diversity of peoples with ideologies in direct conflict with each other is the thing wars are made of. Borders are to be respected, borders must be upheld. Borders keep us us and our way of life safe. The more the border between hong kong and China is eroded the more pain conflict and strive we will see. The border separating Taiwan and China will only cause lose of life when it is eroded. We must not let this happen. We must stand on the side of democracy and freedom. Democracy, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom to critique the government, these are things that could be wiped out in a heartbeat. 當長輩聽你說中文... Parents just don't understand... Chinese

因為我們家現在只有兩代，所以我最近想多一點紀錄我爸爸。雖然他已經聽我說中文十六年了，但是他還是不習慣聽我說話... 都會說「感覺怪怪的」或是「聽我兒子說中文讓我覺得很糊塗」。我還記得我開始學的時候，他認真跟我說「那是一個我們永遠學不會的語文」，我那時候還很反對他說「拿破崙說以後中國會最大」什麼的，一大堆有的沒的這種話。他那時候覺得我瘋了，所以一開始我都偷偷學，後來我就公開的告訴他我已經學了很多。來不及，現在他好像還是無法完全習慣或是接受，他說每一次看我的影片都會感覺 https://www.instagram.com/dr34mlucid/ https://www.facebook.com/dr34mlucid/
