今天我們來到了花蓮，因為之前的地震，所以我們想去的很多地方都關閉了。 不過沒關係，花蓮還是有很多美麗的景點。 今天一早我們來到清水斷崖，在這裡可以鳥瞰美麗的海岸線，之後我們到了（台地步道北段），有一個短短的健行步道，風景非常優美。 健行完之後我們的老大Adeline 幫我們找到了一間，非常好吃的鵝肉餐廳，在那裡我們享用了一頓鵝肉大餐，裡面我們非常喜歡熱炒山蘇，鵝內臟，鵝油飯，當然也要來一大盤鵝肉配好吃的醬料和嫩薑。 影片的結尾我們去了一個很有趣好玩清涼的地方，歡迎跟我們一起去避暑喔！ 謝謝你今天的收看 Stephen和季芳全家 --------------------------------------- We finally made it to Hualien! A big earthquake has closed many of the places that we wanted to visit during our trip, but we didn't let this get us down. We determined to make the best out this situation. We start off today's adventure with some beautiful scenery along the picturesque coastline, with towering cliffs that drop into turquoise waters of the Pacific Ocean. We stop by the visitor center near the entrance to Taroko Gorge, and hike along the North Section of Terrace Trail. Later Adeline helped us select today's lunch stop. We head into town to enjoy a an amazing feast of Goose meat dishes, and local veggies. So good! Great job, Adeline! Later we head to nearby Sakul Trail for a cool afternoon hike through 'monkey-infested' jungles. Bring the sticks! This is part 1 of our stay in Hualien. 我們在美麗的台東度過了一段非常美好的時光！這次全家最難忘的亮點包括：騎腳踏車穿梭在青翠的稻田間、住在溫泉度假村、在台東大學附近的台東兒童運動公園盡情玩樂、到池上牧野村「Safari」看動物（與台北動物園合作）、還有當地好吃的美食、美麗的風景，以及親切友善的人們！ 今天的影片中，我們繼續前往花蓮，不過出發前先在台東北部的海岸停留，欣賞幾處天然岩石奇景。上帝的創造真是奇妙！這些經過遠古洪水與數千年海浪拍打沖刷而形成的各種岩石地貌，讓人讚嘆不已。 其實，像這樣簡單地沿著海岸散步，就能為你和家人創造難忘的回憶。如果你正好經過台東，這幾處海岸景點真的很值得停下來走走喔！ 我們在台東的最後一站來到三仙台拱橋，盡情欣賞這裡絕美的景色。（附帶一提，這天的天氣多雲，還吹著微微涼風，能下車伸展一下筋骨、呼吸太平洋新鮮的海風，感覺真的很棒！） 感謝你陪我們一起展開這趟環島之旅！我們還會繼續造訪幾個地方，下一個目的地就是花蓮了，敬請期待。 旅途中的弟兄， Stephen & Family -------------------------------------------------------------------------- We had such an amazing time in beautiful Taitung. Highlights for our family include riding bikes through the lush rice paddies, staying at a hot spring resort, going wild at Taitung's Children's Sports Park near Taitung University, seeing the farm animals at Chishang Pastoral Farm 'Safari' in partnership with the Taipei Zoo, all the good food, the beautiful scenery, and the friendly people! In today's video we head to Hualien, but we first stop at a few natural rock formations along Taitung's northern coastline. God's creation is truly amazing, here with its diverse rock formations, cut out by ancient floods and millennia of surging tides and crashing waves. Something so simple as taking a walk along the coastline can create lasting memories for you and your family. If you find yourself passing through the area, these places along the Taitung coast are definitely worth the stop. We end our trip through Taitung at Sanxiantai Arch Bridge and take in the amazing scenery. (On a side note, it was great that the weather was overcast, with a slightly cool breeze! A big plus when sitting in the car for long stretches of time. It's great to get out, stretch your legs, and breath in that fresh Pacific Ocean air.) 我們的大女兒Adeline已經期待這一天很久了。她很喜歡在台灣鄉間騎腳踏車，尤其是在美麗的綠色田野旁（我們全家都很愛！）。 在今天的影片中，我們先在知本泓泉溫泉渡假村，享用一頓美味的早餐，然後往北開車約1小時15分鐘，來到池上（同樣在台東縣）。我們先在當地餐廳買了9個鐵路便當，準備帶著上路。最後抵達池上我們最喜歡的租車店，幫女孩們挑選合適的腳踏車（我們其實三年前就在這裡租過車！）。特別感謝藍霆自行車出租的老闆藍先生，不僅幫我們安排好腳踏車、提供路線建議，還給女孩們準備了零食！真的非常謝謝！ 騎完腳踏車後，我們和新朋友一起吃傳統台灣刨冰。超好吃！ 最後我們還迷路去找那座沒有路標的神秘「台東牧場動物園」，過程相當有趣！謝謝你跟我們一起，在今天的影片中探索美麗的池上（台東），和女孩們一起創造美好回憶吧！祝福大家！我們下週影片見！ Stephen 和季芳全家 Our eldest daughter Adeline has been waiting for this day for a long time. She loves riding bikes in the Taiwanese countryside, especially along beautiful green terraced rice fields (our whole family does!). In today's video we start with a delicious breakfast at Rainbow Resort, then drive about an hour and 15 minutes north to Chi-Shang (still Taitung County). We stop by a local restaurant and buy 9 railway lunch boxes that we can take on our trip. We finally arrive at our favorite bike place in Chi-Shang to set the girls up with suitable bikes (we actually rented bikes here 3 years ago!). A special thanks to Mr. Lan, owner of 藍霆自行車出租 for setting us up with bikes, giving us good instructions on where to go, and for the snacks for the girls! Thank you so much! After our bike ride, we stop for some traditional Taiwan-style shaved ice with some new friends. Yummy! And finally, we get lost trying to find the mystical Taitung Muzha Zoo that has no signs! In today's video we travel from the sunny beaches of southern Taiwan, to the South Eastern part of the island, in beautiful Taitung! Traveling with such a large family, things can get a bit chaotic. In today's video we get a bit lost, one of the girls feels under the weather, and we miss an opportunity, but that's ok! It's all part of the adventure. Join us as we start our journey through Taitung county, visiting scenic spots, eating some good food, letting the children get out and run around after a long drive in the car, and then fine dining and relaxation at a mountain hot spring resort! 在今天的影片中，我們來到美麗的台灣屏東，造訪了幾個從未去過的地方。我們一直都很喜歡在墾丁的海灘玩耍，那裡的海水溫暖又清澈，魚兒成群。我們也超愛去當地的海鮮餐廳用餐（尤其是阿興生魚片），食物新鮮又非常美味！但今天我們決定走出舒適圈，去探索一些全新的地方！第一個活動是到一個熱帶景點健行，那裡有崎嶇的懸崖、伸展的藤蔓、調皮的猴子，還有巨大的蝴蝶！ 不過問題來了，我們最小的女兒、四歲的Sophia前一天把鞋子留在海灘上了，所以我們得先幫她找東西穿。簡單說，她穿上了能讓她連結台灣根的鞋子。哈！ 請和我們一起享受這些簡單又溫馨的家庭時光：在山丘間健行探索、在我們最愛的海灘游泳並在搖曳的海葵中尋找小丑魚，以及在墾丁停留的日落時分尋找海龜。特別感謝我們的朋友Cari （阿軒的姊姊）推薦了今天的第一個和最後一個活動。 感謝屏東所有親切的朋友們，你們的熱情讓我們感覺就像在家一樣。我們期待有一天能再次回到這個非常特別的地方。 也感謝你們收看。願主耶穌基督祝福並保守你和你的家人，願祂的恩典、憐憫和愛永遠與你們同在。 旅途中的弟兄， Stephen -------------------------------------- In today's video we visit several places that we've never been to in beautiful Pingtung, Taiwan. We always love playing at the beaches in Kenting, where the water is warm and clear, and the fish abound. We also love to dine at the local seafood restaurants (especially A-shin sashimi) where the food is fresh and very delicious. But today we venture out of our comfort zone, and visit some brand new places! The first activity includes hiking in a tropical place with craggy cliffs, stretching vines, sneaky monkeys, and massive butterflies! Problem is, our youngest daughter, 4-year-old Sophia left her shoes at the beach the day before, so we first have to find something for her to wear. Let's just say, she got something to help her connect with her Taiwanese roots. Ha! Please join us as we enjoy these simple family moments: hiking and exploring in the hills, swimming at our favorite beach and searching for Clown Fish among the waving sea anemones, and searching for sea turtles as the sun sets on our stay in Kenting. A special thanks to our friend Cari for suggesting the first and last activities of the day. Thank you to all the kind folks of Pintung for being so friendly, and making us feel at home.
