Summer is almost over, so here's a reminder to put down our phones, stop doomscrolling, and get out there and enjoy the beauty we call home, mother earth 🥰

Here are some wonderful clips of Taiwan's nature, including Hualien Guangfu recreational forest, Sun Moon Lake, Bitou Cape Park and Little Liuqiu!

Honestly one of the most meaningful and memorable experiences from our trip to Japan.

About Hachiman Kamado:
We visited @hachimankamado, a traditional Ama Goya in Toba that was converted into a cultural center and dining hut in 2004 by veteran free-diver Reiko Nomura.

These huts were originally private frontline spaces for divers to warm up between dives. However as the industry changed, the community decided to pivot and welcome visitors to help diversity income and preserve heritage.

Today, Hachiman Kamado is run cooperatively by local veteran Ama divers and managed by Nomura’s family.

The Experience:
We booked the deluxe lunch experience directly through their website.

They had a translator on-site giving live translations of what the women were saying, and it was incredible to learn from them firsthand. They mostly talked about the culture and history, but didn’t dive too much into their own personal stories.

The food was incredibly fresh and delicious and if you’re a diver or just feel a pull toward these traditional diving communities, this experience is worth checking out.

Logistics:
We booked directly through their website (but heads up it’s pretty analog...)
We rented a car and drove to the hut, but they have shuttle services that run to the closest train station!
Only 3 hours from Osaka!~
SAVE/SHARE for your Japan trip and lmk if you have any questions!

salt air season on the italian riviera

Riomaggiore is by far the best place to catch the sunset in Cinque Terre. Grab a bottle of wine and some cold cuts and find a cozy little spot to vibe out.

It gets PACKED but get there a little earlier and just take it slow. It’s worth it.

Here’s how to spend one month in Thailand! Unfortunately, it’s such a huge country that I was only just able to scratch the surface, but it’s so so so beautiful with such kind and funny people that I’m excited to visit again and maybe go off the main tourist route! Have you been to Thailand? Where would you recommend someone go the first time around? #thailand #ThailandItinerary #thailandtravel

Comment your 2026 sunset pics below!👇
(yes, you can now upload your own pics to the comments section!)

Honored to have been able to experience the incredible landscapes of Guizhou with @eastogotravel

The Xiage Rice Terraces are located near the Zhaoxing Dong Village in Liping County, Guizhou.

We arrived just in time to catch the sunset and boy, was it majestic!

Dispersed sunlight, terraced green fields, and a peaceful atmosphere that can’t be beat.

We spent a few moments capturing the beauty and then settled down to ambient dinner among the fields.

What’s the best sunset you’ve seen so far this year, what was the context and story behind it? I’d love to hear your stories 🥺💖

Nothing like the familiar scent of piss and garbage on the sidewalks

But jokes aside, summer is my favorite season in ny.

Outdoor festivals, summer streets, cocktail runs... there’s just something about the city’s energy during the summer that feels invincible.

So here are some of my favorite things to do as a (sometimes) local:

→ picnic in your local park: spend your day hanging out in one of new york’s best assets

→ catch some eats at @queensnightmarket: i’m a queens girlie through and through so grab some eats from nyc’s most diverse borough

→ rooftop bars babe: some of my faves include @vintagegreen.nyc @refineryrooftop and @thecrownnyc

→ museum mile: honestly great for every season. just sad that the met roof garden is closed until 2030

→ beaaaaach: ok ny beaches suck but sometimes you’ve still gotta touch the ocean. brighton beach, rockaway beach, and long beach are some of my defaults.

What are some of your favorite nyc summertime things to do?
