MUTUAL｜《共》 - Yun-Chi Mai - Fragile bodies. Shared existence. Hair becomes a thread that binds. A weight. A connection. In MUTUAL, dancers are physically connected through their hair, transforming an intimate part of the body into a shared responsibility. Every movement affects another. Every decision requires negotiation. Within these invisible tensions, they search for balance between individuality and togetherness, revealing the delicate act of living alongside others. Inspired by the cultural symbolism of hair in Eastern traditions, MUTUAL reflects on care, dependence, trust, and coexistence. It is not only about the bodies we inhabit, but the invisible ties that shape who we become.
